AFTOC is a 1901 law association created in France in 1992, under the name AFTOC-Tourette Association, by a patient, Marc Lalvée, restructured under the name AFTOC in 1997. The current president is Pierre PRAT.
AFTOC is made up of patients, ex-patients, families of patients and sympathetic doctors, in France and in some foreign countries.
